Open Forum benefits the Indian American community by addressing issues that are of direct concern to you: US-India relations, immigration, business and entrepreneurship, and others that you can help us define. Open Forum provides a united platform to our community to raise its concerns. Open Forum provides you with the access to decision makers necessary to resolve your concerns with the Federal, state, or local governments.
About Indian-Americans
Indian Americans are among the fastest growing immigrant groups in America. The 2000 Census shows that the Indian American population stands at nearly 1.7 million people. That is approximately a 106% growth since 1990.
Indian Americans are one of the wealthiest and best-educated communities in the United States. With a median household income of $60,093, compared with $41,110 for non-Hispanic white families, there are few groups that have comparable income levels.
